It’s all about serving Christ in the inner city! We connect youth and adults who have a desire to serve with people living in deteriorating housing conditions in poverty-stricken areas. We do the groundwork, project coordination, and provide tools and materials – you provide the labor. Whatever your skill level, we have a project that's just right for you!

We serve the Greater Grand Rapids Area, which is 145 miles northeast of Chicago, 150 miles west of Detroit, and 35 miles from the Lake Michigan shoreline. Our city is culturally, racially and economically diverse. Like other metropolitan areas, Grand Rapids struggles with a growing underclass living in sub-standard housing, with few resources for sustained development.

We need you to make it all happen! We coordinate group projects anytime, but most participate in week-long summer workcamps. While experienced workers are helpful, no experience required.

Youth missions through GRASP provide a great opportunity for bonding and spiritual growth. A simple devotional curriculum is provided, but we leave the freedom for you to use your own curriculum and materials to customize the spiritual experience that achieves your specific growth objectives.
